ENVIRONMENT-HOW THE VILLAGERS TAKE PART TO SAVE IT?
(ENGLISH VERSION)

The issue of global warming is becoming the topic almost in our daily life. Many people argue that it’s caused by human activity, precisely irresponsible hands. The forms of those actions are: illegal logging that makes the number of trees become decrease, (as we know that trees are the plant which able to absorb the CO2), pollution that comes from vehicles and smoke that comes from firing yard activity for agricultural purposes, and a massive activity of industry. In my hometown, there is a mountain which named Raja Basa Mountain; it lies on South of Lampung. It’s quite beautiful indeed, since the number of mysterious plants and new kinds of plant have ever been found here. It approximately has 2.285 meters’ height.

But the condition of this mountain becomes worse since people there use its land as the agricultural yard through farming activity. Sometimes, they take the preservation area as their yard. They cut down the trees which grow there in a long period. As the result, many original animals (for instance: birds and kind of monkeys) are in under threatened-condition. It’s because they feel unsatisfied when their habitat is disturbed. As the native there, and as the future generation, of course I cannot let this worse condition still run. There are many ways to stop it, or at least to mitigate the harm of those illegal activities.

“Dream no small dreams for they have no power to move the hearts of man”.

(Miliki mimpi (visi) yang benar-benar besar, karna mimpi yang kecil, yang biasa-biasa saja, tidak mempunyai kekuatan untuk menggerakkan hati manusia).

Diatas adalah salah satu peribahasa dari Barat yang menginspirasi saya untuk menjadi orang yang “tak biasa”, tak sama dengan orang yang ‘bisasa-biasa saja”, dan tak sama dengan orang yang bersifat “going to the flow and taking for a granted.”

Bagi saya, anugerah hidup yang diberikan oleh sang Khalik kepada manusia adalah nikmat yang tak terhingga. Manusia diciptakan sebagai makhluk yang paling sempurna dari makhluk lain; memiliki akal, fikiran, dan perasaan. Lalu, bagaimanakah seharusnya manusia menyikapi arti kesempurnaan tersebut? Bagi saya, wujud syukur manusia atas nikmat kesempurnaan dari tuhan adalah melakukan sesuatu yang berguna baginya dan bagi orang lain, buatlah orang disekelilingmu merasa berharga akan kehadiranmu, merasa bersemangat dengan ucapan dan gagasanmu. Well, tak mudah memang menjadi sosok yang inspiratif bagi orang disekelilingmu, namun, tak ada yang mustahil didunia ini, Man jadda wa jadda, siapa yang menanam, ia menghasilkan!

So guys, saya Indra Gunawan, atau Indra malasyah, akan menuntun kalian semua mengarungi perjalan hidup saya diblog ini, melalui berbagai cerita-cerita yang menarik, dan Insyaallah inspiratif!! ^__________^.
